 Highest availabilty
swissV was designed for highest availability and therefore relies completely on the failover functionality of Microsoft Cluster Technology. If a hardware defect occurs at a physical host, the virtual servers are automatically and immediately transferred to a functional device.

High Speed SAN Storage
All swissV data are stored in a central, fully redundant High Speed SAN Storage. The architecture allows a maximum of performance, availability and scalability. Once a day, all contents of the SAN Storage are replicated to a second storage in a geographically separated data center.

Backup
The backup of swissV is based on proven snapshot technology. In addition to the daily snapshots (7 generations) which are determined by default by the system, the user has the choice to create an additional snapshot at anytime. Due to the use of the System Center Data Protection Manager a restore is easy and fast.


 Data Center
swissV is operated in the own, state of the art data center of the netrics hosting AG. A second geographically separated data center is used for the storage of backup data. more

The architecture of the swissV network is based completely on gigabit technology and is designed multiply redundant.

 Security
The swissV platform is protected by a multi-level security concept (firewalls, IDP) and is permanently monitored, 24/7. Additionally all virtual servers with the option server management or antivirus are protected against virus and spyware.
